Ant Davis
Security Awareness ?️ | Community, Learning, and the Human Side of Cyber | Co-host of The Awareness Angle | Security, made human.

All views and opinions are my own and do not represent my employer. I help security awareness professionals build programmes, confidence, and community. After more than a decade leading awareness and engagement inside some of the UK’s largest retailers, I now focus on growing the people behind awareness, not just the programmes they run. That means shared learning, honest conversation, and practical skills that actually work in the real world. I’m building a community and academy for security awareness practitioners who want to go beyond compliance, understand human behaviour, and get better at influencing everyday decisions. Less box ticking, more behaviour change. My work blends experience, creativity, and people first thinking, from shaping awareness strategy and coaching internal leads, to creating learning spaces where practitioners can learn from each other. David Atkinson
CEO & Founder
SenseOn

David has over fifteen years’ experience working within the UK’s specialist military units and government environments, where he was the first cyber operative. During David’s time within government and whilst working alongside CISOs, he realised current approaches to cyber defence were cumbersome to set up, slow to adapt and expensive to run. David brought together a team of experts to solve some of the common struggles that CISO’s were experiencing including an erosion of trust caused by alert fatigue, unpredictable costs of ingesting logs and being too slow to adapt as getting hold of the right data was either painful to get prioritised by busy teams or that analytics take a long time to get into production. He founded SenseOn in 2017 with a vision to make the Internet a safe place so businesses could prosper without fear. His sense of camaraderie, instilled by his military background, has created a collaborative working culture, nurtured by an extremely bright, dedicated and passionate team. Innovations by the team in pursuit of SenseOn’s vision have been recognised as Innovations of the Year by both the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the World Economic Forum.
