Jim Loughran is a seasoned technology professional, who continues to enjoy a storied career rooted in application security and developer-driven security advocacy. Currently, he is the Head of Customer Success for the APAC & EMEA regions at Secure Code Warrior. Since joining Secure Code Warrior in 2018, Jim has been instrumental in empowering developers and software engineers with hands-on skills to build secure, resilient applications. His role involves facilitating the design and delivery of cutting-edge development risk management solutions that integrate security into the software development lifecycle, ultimately placing developers in the driver’s seat of code-level vulnerability reduction. He has a proven track record of security change management and has become a trusted leader in helping technical teams adopt secure coding practices. Before Secure Code Warrior, Jim honed his technical expertise as Executive Director at J.P. Morgan, where he led Global Incident, Problem and Change Management before moving into a specialist Cybersecurity role. During his tenure, he sought to solve issues relating to Development and AppSec team goal alignment, resulting in more consistent, secure software delivery. When he is not at his desk, he enjoys diving, travel, and a full-bodied Scottish Whisky.
